August 29th– 6th, 7th, & 8th grade try-out 3:45-5:15 on Field located off the 100 wing.

September 3rd-6th, 7th, & 8th grade try-outs 3:45-5:15 on the field hockey field.

September 4th- 6th, 7th & 8th grade try-outs 3:45-5:15 on the field hockey field.

Boys & Girls Cross Country – 6th, 7th, & 8th grade

August 29th – First Practice 6th, 7th & 8th grade– 3:45-5:15 PM meet near back parking lot off of Cypress St.

RMS Soccer – 6th, 7th & 8th grade- August 29th

Groupings may change based on the number of students trying out in each grade

2024 RUNDLETT MIDDLE SCHOOL FALL SPORTS

FALL ***THERE ARE NO CUTS IN FALL SPORTS***

BOYS & GIRLS SOCCER:  BOY’S AND GIRL’S SOCCER IS OPEN TO ALL 6th, 7TH & 8TH GRADERS.   WE HAVE AN “A” TEAM FOR BOTH BOYS & GIRLS.   THE REMAINING PLAYERS ARE THEN DIVIDED EQUALLY ONTO TEAMS.  LAST YEAR WE HAD TWO BOY B TEAMS AND TWO GIRL B TEAMS. WE WILL HAVE AS MANY AS NEEDED.

BOYS & GIRLS CROSS-COUNTRY: THIS IS OPEN TO ALL BOYS AND GIRLS IN 6TH, 7TH, & 8TH GRADE.  CROSS-COUNTRY IS A GREAT SPORT IN WHICH OUR ATHLETES LEARN HOW TO EXPAND THEIR RUNNING ENDURANCE AND COMPETE AS PART OF A TEAM.

GIRL FIELD HOCKEY: GIRL’S FIELD HOCKEY IS OPEN TO ALL GIRLS IN 6TH, 7TH, OR 8TH GRADE.  WE HAD ONE “A” TEAM.  FIELD HOCKEY IS A FUN, FAST PACED GAME THAT IS PLAYED WITH A STICK.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: GIRLS VOLLEYBALL IS OPEN TO ALL GIRLS IN 6TH, 7TH, & 8TH GRADE.  WE HAVE AN “A” AND “B” TEAM.  NEW PLAYERS TO VOLLEYBALL ARE PUT IN AN INTRAMURAL PROGRAM THAT RUNS IN TWO GROUPS (M/W OR T/TH).

RMS SPORTS START ON THURSDAY AUGUST 29th AND RUN UNTIL THE MID TO END OF OCTOBER.
