Performance Ensemble Group - PEG
P.E.G
Rundlett Middle School's after school theatre program - the Performance Ensemble Group, or PEG, as it's called - performs two shows each year. In the fall, we present a "straight" (non-musical) play, and in the spring, we produce a musical.
-
PEG is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders who have an interest in either performing on stage as cast members or working backstage as a crew member in the various roles needed to bring a live theatrical show to life!

more information about the story.

Lots of roles, lots of comedy, lots of fun!
AUDITIONS
*Wednesday & Thursday, Sept. 9th and 10th, after school from 3:45 – 5:30/6:00.
*Auditioners will choose one of those days, and a 10-minute time slot, to audition.
*Audition sign-up sheets will be posted outside Mrs. Allard's Chorus Room 622 in the music wing.
*Auditioners will need to prepare – practice and memorize – a short 1-minute comic (funny!) monologue
to present as their audition piece.
*Monologues can be found by googling “1-minute comedic monologues for actors ages 11 – 13” and choosing whatever one
appeals to you. My search came up with the following sites with free, appropriate monologues: Drama Notebook,
Freedrama.net, Tara Meddaugh, and Daily Actor, but I’m sure there are others as well 😊
REHEARSALS
We will have rehearsals beginning Monday, September 14th on Monday/Wednesday/Friday after school from 3:45 to 5:30 in room 622 – Mrs. Allard's Chorus Room. Later, in mid-October, we move rehearsals into the NAR.
